There are two kinds of mountain bikes, Full Suspension and Hardtail. Both of which feel completely different to one another when ridden down a trail. Full Suspension mountain bikes will vary from cross country style to the full on downhill no mercy bike. Full suspension bikes will enable you to hit the more technical trails a bit faster and harder.
